Therapeutic Laser
Photobiomodulation Therapy, more commonly known as Laser therapy, uses light to penetrate into the body, and cause a physiologic change in the cells.  The light stimulates biochemical processes in the cells.
The top Ten biological effects of laser therapy are:  anti-inflammation, analgesic (pain killing) effect, accelerated tissue repair and cell growth, improved vascular activity, increased metabolism, stimulation of trigger points and acupuncture points, decrease fibrous tissue and scar tissue formation, improved nerve function, immunoregulation (stimulation of immune system) and fast wound healing.
There are many conditions that will benefit from therapeutic laser treatments.  Here are a few: osteoarthritis, fractures, lick granuloma, acute musculoskeletal injury, hot spots, kidney disease, aural hematoma,  and wounds.
Our doctors are happy to discuss the potential that laser therapy has to help your pet.
